WEDDINGS.

Close up magic is ideal entertainment for weddings as it can keep guests entertained during the period when the photos are been taken, during coffee or waiting for the disco! A close up magician is especially good when not everyone knows each other as close up magic is a perfect ice breaker as well as time filler. Your guests will be amazed and amused and have a great topic to discuss. You don't have to make any arrangements at all for the magician leaving you to concentrate 100% on the day. The great thing about this form of entertainment is that it does not impinge on all the other activities. Guests can watch the magician, break off at any point for a photo and then come back. Gerry will simply mix and mingle and entertain when convenient to each guest. Oh, and Gerry can also entertain the children during the speeches too !!!!

ANNIVERSARIES/BIRTHDAYS.

Gerry has entertained at birthdays from 18year olds to a 90 year old. There is often a mixture of ages and close up magic can appeal to all ages. It can provide that extra, to make your event stand out from the rest. Unlike a cabaret, close up magic entertains small groups at a time so does not interrupt the flow of the evening.

THE UNUSUAL

In addition to dinners, parties, weddings etc Gerry’s close up magic has been performed in some rather unusual situations. He was once invited to perform magic and balloon modelling at the start of a dentists' training day as a team bonding exercise. On another occasion he entertained workers in a call centre (between calls!!!). A cinema foyer, prior to the film and the aisles of a supermarket have also acted as unusual venues. A school’s council once booked him to entertain at a training day during lunch! Close up magic is unique. It needs no stage, no sound system and can be used to enhance almost any event
